The Gaul family reunion moved back to Iowa in 1998, where the descendants of Pierre “Peter” Gaul had their beginning. In the year of 1845 Pierre “Peter” Gaul arrived in Iowa. He married Mary Theresa Ahlers and the two raised their family on a farm near the town of Luxemburg, Iowa. There are many, many descendants of Pierre “Peter” and Mary Theresa (Ahlers) Gaul. Three of their sons John, Peter and Joseph came to Northwest Iowa. John and Joseph moved on. Peter remained and married Katherin Delperdang. |
